The snake may change its skin but still remains a snake. - African proverb
Can you recall a time in your life where you felt you've out-grown something? This could be anything; a job, a relationship, or a routine you've become accustomed to. For many of us, this revelation can be a scary ordeal, often leading to sadness and uncertainty.
This week's reflection is a reminder that we can get rid of old attachments while remaining true to who we are.
Detaching ourselves from habits, people, and ways of thinking that no longer serve a purpose in our lives is completely normal. All it means is that we're entering into a new space. This new space can be one of growth, healing, and/or transformation.
Keep in mind, growth only occurs when we're ready to get rid of the things that hold us down in exchange for a new experience. What emerges is not a different you, just a new and improved version of you.
This week, take note of the things that may be holding you down or no longer serve your best interest. Allow yourself time to reflect on how they DID serve you in the past and why you are now ready to let go.
Remember to write this reflection down somewhere and allow our amazing products to create a meditative space for this daily reflection.
