Real gold does not fear the test of fire. - Chinese proverb
Have you ever 'bitten off more than you can chew'? If you have, you know the outcome is never a good one. Chances are, feelings of doubt, disappointment, and regret were the outcomes.
This week's reflection is a practical reminder for us to be honest about our limitations.
When we acknowledge our limitations, we survey our weaknesses. It allows us to clearly define who we are and what we stand for. It opens us up to seek out new and meaningful relationships without hesitation and fear. Being honest about our limitations gives us certainty in times of doubt and ease in times of discomfort.
This week, begin preparing for the fire that is sure to come by visualizing where you would like to be 3 months from now. Identify, and write down 3 limitations that may prevent you from getting there. Reflect on ways to overcome those limitations.
Create actionable steps that you can take to alleviate your limitations and incorporate these steps into your daily activities. With mindfulness and hard work, what will emerge is a fearless, authentic you--one who is fluid and ready to take on the world.
Remember to write this reflection down somewhere and allow our amazing products to create a meditative space for this daily reflection.
